Persist

February 23, 2008

Just finished reading Donald Trump’s & Bill Zanker’s book, “Think Big and Kick Ass”.   I must say it is a very informative book that will help you take a look at the basic business principles tand they will cause you to succeed.  It also challenges your thinking, if you are one to apply what you read.  Mr. Trump tells many stories in his life to help get his point accross and they are quite entertaining.

This book has challenged me to think better about myself and to demand respecet from others by being persistant.  There are always going to be times in life that you will feel like giving in, but as long as you remain persistant, you will get past the minor set back. If you keep doing what your already doing and it worked before, nothing can hold you down.

Important Online Auction Tip

February 2, 2008

As I continue reading “Your Internet Cash Machine”, I read about selling products on auction sites.  As we all probably know product description and using the proper words that get peoples attention and that are descriptive are very important for promotion. We know setting the product at a reasonable price is very important.

But a very important key is important to get the bids that you need.  Timing is crucial to be successful at obtaining bids.  This is one area that I failed at when I have used E-bay in the past. Most people usually shop online and watch the items during the week, but they actually make the purchase during the weekend. This is such an obvious important thing to recognize when using auction sites and many people probably miss this.

For those of you who may be searching for products to sell, here is a list of sites that you can turn to help provide you with success:

Website Content That Matters

February 1, 2008

I just purchased a book today tittled, “Your Internet Cash Machine”.  This book is full of information about website success.  The authors of this book gathered their friend’s to help add content to their area of expertize.  A lot of the main people they get content from are those people who try to get others to join their business for a fee and they will become millionaires.  I am one of those people who absolutely hates these sites, but I must say a lot of the content of the book is really good.

One of the things that I am learned today was about website content.  According to the book only five percent of the traffic on business sites will be buyers, the other ninety-five percent of the traffic of your site are those who want to be further informed about your specific product(s) or your company.

The viewers of these sites want to get to know the owner of the site and feel like they can trust them.  The customers want to know things about you, like, what is their motive?, how can it benefit me? Are they likable people?, Are they honest,  and How will they respond if the product that I buy goes bad?

I guess it all goes back to selling yourself and standing behind your product with confidence.  When you do this your life long customer fan base will rise.
