I recently bought the domain name http://ibaseballtube.com, so I thought I would play around with the site and see if I could make money with the Google ads. I believe the site looks good and I would like to be able to get as many people as I can to be members of this site.
I’m currently trying to figure out the best way to promote this web sites. This can be very tricky, especially because there are many sites out there that really want you to pay them to add your site and that’s not always the smart thing to do. I have read articles about promoting sites. They all say just about the same thing.
They say get your site ranked on the top ten list with Google or Yahoo. This makes scense these two search engine sites are the leading search engines on the web. They also mention writing blogs about your site, advertise by using press release sites, e-mailing your friends, pay-per-click, donating to a charity and many other ideas.
One article that I read mentioned starting in your own town. when I read this article, it just made scense to me. My only question is will it work? I know it would for a regular business that provide customers with services, but to advertise a site that has no official office, it makes me wonder if it will work. I think I will try this out and see if it works.
Google started its business from nothing and look where they are today. There must be a successful way to obtain the knowledge to advertise for something that provides no services. I would like to find out how.
