“The source of anxiety lies in the future. If you can keep the future out of mind, you can forget your worries.” Milan Kundera
Anxiety is a interesting thing. Sometimes I don’t know how to react to the feeling it brings. I am one who likes to think about different situations that could happen, just so I will have an answer as to how I should react. I don’t usually have a worrisome anxiety, but more of an expectancy anxiety. I expect the future to be a certain way. I am very anxious to see if it happens how I imagine it to be. If it doesn’t happen the way I imagine, then I always must have a backup plan to that situation.
I find when I have a back up plan to my future, I remain free of worry. This allows me to go forward, and it keeps doubtful thinking and failure thinking out of my life. I believe that there is a way to get anywhere in life that I want to go. I must have a plan then I can proceed. My backup plan helps me stay confident and self assured. If you turn your negative anxiety into positive anxiety you can accomplish anything.

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
I just found this quote. I don’t know who said it, but it is very powerful and true. If you can’t tell by all of the quotes that I put up, I enjoy quotes a lot. Just as this quote mentions many steps to get to where our destiny is, so it seems in real life. Sometimes we might say all the right things and think all the right things and everything that we do is right according to our own convictions. But it seems like we will never see the destiny that we are looking for.
You may have fought a lot of battles, but keep on fighting. But what you are fighting for has meaning to you and that is what is important. You don’t win a war fighting a few battles and then going home. You win when you stay persistent because all the battles you fought brought you that much closer to winning your purpose of the fight. Don’t give up and don’t give in. Sometimes wars take a long time to win but when they are won, that is when we are able to enjoy the benefits. You fight for benefits, not more bondage.
