I believe that there are two extremes of people the gullible and people who don’t believe anything you tell them. Out of the two, if I had to choose to be one, I would be the gullible. I find it funny that these are the ones who people laugh at and say “they believe everything”. But I believe that we all need to be more gullible about the good things in life. When we believe all the things around us that are good, it brings us to a positive mindset. Its funny positive thinking always attracts positive situations.
What if we refused to believe all the negative things that people said and acted like negativity didn’t exist?
I’m not talking about deaths, I’m talking about things in life that we can control. I have worked with kids before and noticed sometimes they can say things to other kids to make the hopeful children loose hope. They tell them that their “ideas are impossible” and “you can never do that.” It interest me to think about things that we quit believing, because of what others around us said we couldn’t do. What if we started believing these things again?
I remember my freshman year of high school one of the people I knew told me that I wouldn’t make the high school baseball team. When he said this, I remember telling him, “I’m going to make it”. So I tried out for the team. I want to note that I never played baseball for a team ever in my life at this point. When the coaches finished the cuts I remember sitting in the library and one of the things that he said was, “if you are in this room at this moment, you have made the Booker High School baseball team”. When he said this, I remember thinking, “WOW, I really did it”. Not only did I make the team that year, but I won the Most Improved Player award.
This shows you that anything can be done if you get rid of all the negative thoughts that people try to push onto you. Refuse to believe the things that people tell you that are negative.

“You can turn painful situations around through laughter. If you can find humor in anything, even poverty, you can survive it.” Bill Cosby
Its strange to me to see people who don’t smile at anything. You can say something with the intension to make them laugh or smile and they take what you say serious. I have done this many times and every time they act like they don’t hear me or don’t find what I say funny, it make me laugh.
Its so sad to see they these people have let the worries of life take over their character. There is so much in life to laugh about and I believe if we miss our opportunities to laugh at these events over time we will be taken into this depression state or worry state that many are in.
It doesn’t matter what the situation is that you are in today, there are ways to stay hopeful about tomorrow. I believe laughter is one of the main components to remain strong. Even If you force yourself to laugh, over time you may find yourself laughing without that force. After all laughter is the medicine that cures everything.

I was out on the boat with some friends the other day and one of the guys was telling a story. During the story he was talking about how he doesn’t pay retail for anything. He saw a $67,000 item and turned it to a $60,000 buy just by negotiating with the dealer. This made me think about when I go out and shop. Usually if I think the price is too much I will ask someone at the store for a better price, if I don’t get a price that I like then I will leave and either shop around or wait until I find what I want at a price that is suiting to me.
Listening to the story reminded me that I need to be more discount conscience about everything. I need to always look for ways to get discounts or ask for better prices and remember those places who are willing to give these deals, so I can always go back to them for other things that I might need and by doing this I will be able to tell others about these stores to help them with their needs.

“A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.” – Source Unknown
For any goal that you want to accomplish, encouragement is needed. Any successful person who ever did anything in life had encouragement of some sort. To me encouragement is those that are around you to help you move forward in life. Everyone should have them. Without them you will fail.
I have been around groups in the past where all they would do is critisize me and everyone in that group in a negative way. Weather they do it seriously or in a joking fashion, they hinder you and prevent you from going anywhere. When you hear this kind of negativity over a period of time you begin to believe it and you shouldn’t let anyone bring you down.
Every group needs constructive criticism which will allow you to discuss your faults as well as your strengths. When you have people that you trust to talk about these topics you will be able help each other and improve things in your life. Over a period of time you will begin seeing a positive result because of it.
The hardest part in getting with these people is getting the relationship. Even thats not too hard to do. If you find someone with the same interest as you, then you are able to build on that relationship and then you’ll have the trust to begin working on your goals.

Boundaries: something that indicates bounds or limits; a limiting or bounding line.
Everyone has boundaries. It may be the boundaries to the words you speak, the people you socialize with, or the places you go. We as humans have certain boundaries as well, we were not made to run 100mph or walk through walls. It is important to have boundaries because they help remind us who we really are and where we are at. When I was little I didn’t like certain foods now I eat these same foods, now I look back and seen my maturity through the process of time. My limits have changed and if they don’t change for the good, then I must review my life and correct myself.
I want this blog to be about you and your limits. Take a few minutes and think about certain areas in you life where you went too far or not far enough. Think about what you need to change. The Bill of Rights were not created to try to please everyone, they were created to protect us. Our founding fathers didn’t ask other people what they wanted the rules to be, they set the limits for the world. And here they are still today. There are limits that we are not to cross over because if we do there will be consequences. You should not let anything get in your way. Your boundaries that you set for yourself need to be boundaries you set for your protection and those around you.
